“Neue Textile Welten”
On March 16, the exhibition “Neue Textile Welten” was held in Wasserschloss Klaffenbach in Chemnitz on the subject of “Potentials of technical, intelligent textiles + smart materials”.
Together with well-known representatives from industry and research such as Bauerfeind AG, KARL MAYER Technische Textilien GmbH, warmX GmbH, Norafin Industries GmbH, Sächsisches Textilforschungsinstitut eV (STFI), Textilforschungsinstitut Thüringen Vogtland eV Greiz (TITV eG), TU Chemnitz and Design Research Lab der UdK Berlin is involved in the art college with five student works from the field of textile and surface design and the research projects Textile Prototyping Lab and Digital Materials.
